You haven’t really been to a wedding fair until you’ve been to Brides the Show in my opinion.  The show is the biggest and best around, from the stylish team behind Brides magazine.  Big budget and big impact; read my write up on last year’s show here.  Whilst my photos aren’t the best (unfortunately I had to settle for iPhone photos last year!) and my reporting and writing style has most definitely improved, it gives you a flavour for what you can expect – and I can assure you there will be at least 1 free glass of bubbles on offer!  

Last year I was genuinely wowed by the calibre of the suppliers on offer.  Whilst they were definitely at the luxury end of the market, there were lots of friendly faces to speak to, lots of ideas to inspire you, and lots of offers if you booked up right there and then – not to mention a bucket load of competitions.  

I felt like my sister and I barely covered half off it last year (it’s huge, though easily navigable), but we still managed to bag pina colada ice creams, a mini makeover each, a pastry lesson, exquisite pastries and yummy chocolate to taste afterwards, plus a few glasses of bubbles!  All complimentary!  There is also such stiff competition that vendors really try to outdo each other with their stands, meaning there are lots of free nibbles designed to seduce you and lots of games and competitions to entice you.  Last year there were several interactive games to play and lots of social media opportunities, which made it that little bit more fun.
