Wedding Trends – Chanel Haute Couture SS16

Haute Couture shows rarely disappoint, but I was absolutely taken with the Chanel show on Tuesday.  I adore Chanel anyway, simple chic designs and monochrome mood boards – from patent pumps to neon nail polish, the super brand rarely gets it wrong.  The haute couture show on Tuesday had me swooning and got me inspired to rethink my wedding hair, and in fact reconsider my whole wedding look! 

Engagement Anniversary at The Ritz

 

I have had a bit of a break from blogging so I could focus a little more on my wedding.  Now I’m definitely on the countdown, I’ve been strategically planning my evenings around healthy cooking/eating, invitations and table plans, chasing suppliers, and going to the gym – in that order.  To give ourselves a little bit of a treat and some motivation, I booked The Ritz for a special lunch to celebrate our engagement anniversary last Saturday – which also just so happened to be exactly 3 months until our wedding. 

2016 Resolutions

Carrying on from my 2015 highlights, I gave my best go at some new year’s resolutions.  Again, some are quite cliché in the lead up to my wedding, but I’ve been reading lots of other blogs where even the most boring resolutions have inspired me, so I hope mine inspire you in some way too.

2015 Highlights

As this is a wedding blog most of these will sound very cliché!  2015 very nicely kick started last January with me getting engaged, and the rest is history!  I’m a little slow off the mark with this post but I had so many highlights last year it was hard to condense them all.  I genuinely feel truly blessed and thoroughly enjoyed 2015, so wanted to share some of my best bits and some of the stages of planning my wedding.
